Construction of Northern Apron
Work on the construction of 10 parking stands at Kotoka International Airport is ongoing. The objective of the expansion is to increase KIA’s capacity to accommodate more aircraft of varying sizes.
Kotoka International Airport (KIA) currently has 4 aprons namely Bravo, Charlie, Delta and Echo aprons. Bravo, Charlie, Delta and Echo aprons has a total of 20 parking stands. The aprons have capacity to accommodate wide body aircraft like Boeing 747,777 and Airbus A330.
