Managing Director of GACL honored at May Day National Parade

The Managing Director of Ghana Airports Company Limited, Mrs Yvonne Nana Afriyie Opare has been honoured by the National Executive Council (NEC) of the Public Services Workers’ Union of TUC (Ghana) at the Workers’ Day Parade held in Accra.

The ‘’National May Day Award’’ (Management category) for 2025 was conferred on Mrs Opare in recognition of her outstanding contribution and support to the Union and for a stable labour front over the period.

In a brief remark, the Managing Director thanked the GACL Divisional Union and the PSWU for the esteemed award which is the first of its kind to be awarded to any GACL Managing Director since the company was established. She pledged to work even harder for the betterment of all staff of the company and mother Ghana. She dedicated the award to all GACL staff and expressed appreciation for the support and cooperation.
